O Whitesnake anunciou que vai lançar seu 6° álbum de estúdio, “Slide It In”, em um box set luxuoso no dia 22 de março. O material chega por meio da Rhino Records e tem o intuito de celebrar os 35 anos do disco original.
“Slide It In: The Ultimate Special Edition” contará com 6 CDs no total, além de um DVD. O material apresenta edições remasterizadas de ambas as versões do álbum, lançado com mixagens diferentes no Reino Unido e nos Estados Unidos. Além disso, há gravações de estúdio e ao vivo inéditas, bem como clipes, filmagens de shows e uma entrevista inédita com o vocalista David Coverdale. Um livreto de 60 páginas, com fotos raras e itens daquela época, acompanha o box.
Serão lançadas, também no dia 22 de março, outras quatro edições mais modestas de “Slide It In”. São elas:
– CD duplo “Deluxe Edition”, com as remasterizações das versões do álbum nos Estados Unidos e Reino Unido;
– LP duplo “Deluxe Edition”, com o mesmo material do CD duplo;
– CD simples, com apenas a versão dos Estados Unidos remasterizada;
– Formato digital.
