O guitarrista e vocalista Peter Frampton, hoje com 68 anos, anunciou que vai embarcar em uma turnê de despedida. O giro, que contempla datas em arenas e anfiteatros, contará com Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening como atração de abertura na maior parte das ocasiões.
A turnê percorre os Estados Unidos entre os meses de junho e outubro. Foram anunciadas, no total, 51 datas. Não foi revelado se a tour terá apenas uma parte ou se outras apresentações, em países diferentes, serão confirmadas em seguida.

Frampton ficou conhecido por comandar a banda The Herd, mas se consagrou, mesmo, a frente do Humble Pie. Em carreira solo, deslanchou ainda mais em termos de popularidade com o clássico “Frampton Comes Alive!”, de 1976. Ele também tocou no álbum “Never Let Me Down” (1987), de seu amigo de infância, David Bowie.
